Eleanor Turney

I am a freelance arts consultant with more than a decade’s experience across the sector, specialising in editorial work. I have worked with people across all sectors and all stages of their careers to disseminate and communicate complex information in ways the public can understand.

I have undertaken editorial, writing and communications work for clients including the BBC, NESTA, Creative People and Places, Clore Leadership, the Poetry Society and the British Council. I am the editor of Learning in Public: transEuropean Collaborations in Socially Engaged Art for the Creative Arts Partnership Programme, managed by the Live Art Development Agency, and have undertaken research and evaluation work for New Diorama’s groundbreaking artist development programme and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

As a producer, I co-directed Incoming Festival for seven years, and produced two seasons of Soundworlds, a sonic theatre podcast which won Best Fiction at the British Podcast Awards and Best Use of Sound at the BBC Audio Drama Awards.
